Fine Woodwork - Five Day Intensive

Spend five continuous days with us learning fine woodworking skills. The course will introduce you to the use and maintenance of cabinet making hand tools and you will be taught a wide range of joinery techniques. The project for the course is an ash A frame Japanese style stool which has angled joints. We will teach you how to turn planks into a table top and make complex joints to use on this and future furniture projects. The tutor for this course is John Cross, who is a cabinet maker and furniture conservator of many years experience, and a gifted teacher.

The course is suitable for all skills levels, including beginners. This is good follow on course for students who have completed our Fine Woodwork Key Skills course.

Teaching is Monday to Friday, 10.00 am to 3.30 pm.
