Professional Furniture Restoration – 1 Year (Advanced / Year 2)

An advanced Furniture Restoration course, for those who already have some basic skills, or who have completed the first year of the Furniture Restoration course.

Teaching includes marquetry and the restoration of marquetry, gilding and the restoration of gilded objects, wood carving, lacquer and japanning and the restoration of lacquered objects, and picture and mirror frame restoration.

Students will be expected to complete a major practical project and a research project.

Teaching is one day a week, on Wednesdays.

Three twelve week terms a year, roughly coinciding with school term times.

The fee of £2,640 is for the year. A deposit of £880 will secure your place. The deposit is refundable up to 1st September 2018, but not thereafter.

The balance of the fee will be payable in two instalments of £880, payable on or before 30th September and on or before 30th November.

There is an early booking discount of 10% of the fee for the year, if you pay the first instalment by 31st July, which will be applied to the final instalment.
