Professional Furniture Restoration – 1 Year

A one year course in furniture restoration, designed for would be furniture restorers, and dealers who want to do their own restoration.

A range of restoration skills is taught systematically in this studio based, hands on course. Three twelve week terms a year, roughly coinciding with school term times. Teaching covers dismantling and reassembling chairs, reconstructing furniture joints, repairing losses, staining, polishing and colour matching, and working with veneers, and you will work on real antiques, supplied by you or us.

Teaching is one day a week, on Tuesdays.

The fee of £2,640 is for the year.

A deposit of £880 will secure your place. The deposit is refundable up to 1st September 2018, but not thereafter. The balance of the fee will be payable in two instalments of £880, payable on or before 30th September and on or before 30th November.

There is an early booking discount of 10% of the fee for the year, if you pay the first instalment by 31st July, which will be applied to the final instalment.
