Spoon Carving

Guest tutor and spoon carver extraordinaire Deborah Schneebeli Morell will be running a one day spoon carving workshop. Greenwood carving has by all accounts taken over Deborah’s life, and she is going to share with us her enthusiasm for the craft as well as her skill and know-how. You will learn how to maintain and use specialist spoon carving knives and a hand axe, and discover the possibilities and limitations of the tools and the unseasoned timber that you will be working on. You will take home a wooden spoon carved by your own fair and talented hands. Suitable for beginners.
